PLASTERING COURSE
A course that is suitable for anyone, no previous experience is
required.
The course will teach you how to:
- Prepare walls and ceilings to receive plaster &
plasterboards
- Cut and fix plasterboards to walls and ceilings
- Apply bonding and sand & cement as backing coats
- Fix angle beads round windows and corners
- Apply finishing plaster to backing coats, plasterboards
etc
- Skimming to a high professional finish
- Re-plaster, patch & repair existing walls
- Cut & fix coving
- Plaster over Artex
You will work in a bay with an opening and window and will plaster
over plasterboards and rendered walls. At the end of the course you will have a
good knowledge of plastering methods and techniques, enabling you to approach
any job with confidence.
